ce2c94c1a5 fix: recognize dynamic AI Tool nodes in validator (Issue #522) (#526)
When n8n connects any node to an AI Agent's tool slot, it creates a
dynamic Tool variant at runtime (e.g., googleDrive → googleDriveTool).
These don't exist in npm packages, causing false "unknown node type"
errors.

Added validation-time inference: when a *Tool node type is not found,
check if the base node exists. If yes, treat as valid with warning.

Changes:
- workflow-validator.ts: Add INFERRED_TOOL_VARIANT logic
- node-similarity-service.ts: Add 98% confidence for valid Tool variants
- Added 7 unit tests for inferred tool variant functionality

eac4e67101 fix: recognize all trigger node types including executeWorkflowTrigger (#351) (#352)

trigger nodes were incorrectly treated as regular nodes, causing

c76ffd9fb1 fix: sticky notes validation - eliminate false positives in workflow updates (#350)
Fixed critical bug where sticky notes (UI-only annotation nodes) incorrectly
triggered "disconnected node" validation errors when updating workflows via
MCP tools (n8n_update_partial_workflow, n8n_update_full_workflow).

Problem:
- Workflows with sticky notes failed validation with "Node is disconnected" errors
- n8n-validation.ts lacked sticky note exclusion logic
- workflow-validator.ts had correct logic but as private method
- Code duplication led to divergent behavior

Solution:
1. Created shared utility module (src/utils/node-classification.ts)
   - isStickyNote(): Identifies all sticky note type variations
   - isTriggerNode(): Identifies trigger nodes
   - isNonExecutableNode(): Identifies UI-only nodes
   - requiresIncomingConnection(): Determines connection requirements

2. Updated n8n-validation.ts to use shared utilities
   - Fixed disconnected nodes check to skip non-executable nodes
   - Added validation for workflows with only sticky notes
   - Fixed multi-node connection check to exclude sticky notes

   - Removed private isStickyNote() method (8 locations)

1ad2c6f6d2 fix: skip ALL node repository validation for langchain nodes (correct placement)
The previous fix placed the skip inside the `if (!nodeInfo)` block, but the database HAS langchain nodes loaded from @n8n/n8n-nodes-langchain, so nodeInfo was NOT null. This meant the skip never executed and parameter validation via EnhancedConfigValidator was running and failing.

Moving the skip BEFORE the nodeInfo lookup ensures ALL node repository validation is bypassed for langchain nodes:
- No nodeInfo lookup
- No typeVersion validation
- No EnhancedConfigValidator parameter validation

Langchain nodes are fully validated by dedicated AI-specific validators in validateAISpecificNodes().
