fix: resolve merge conflicts with main

Resolved conflicts in:
- package.json: accepted main's version (2.22.5)
- package.runtime.json: accepted main's version (2.22.5)
- .github/workflows/release.yml: kept script-based fix over heredoc approach

The script-based approach from this branch fixes the YAML parsing issues
that the main branch's heredoc approach causes.
