docs: update installation instructions in README

- Add note that npm installation is deprecated
- Add link to setup documentation
- Add WinGet installation option for Windows
- Update Homebrew to indicate MacOS/Linux support
- Mark recommended installation methods
- Improve formatting with proper indentation
