Add utility function to open a terminal in a specified directory:
- macOS: Uses Terminal.app via AppleScript
- Windows: Tries Windows Terminal, falls back to cmd
- Linux: Tries common terminal emulators (gnome-terminal,
  konsole, xfce4-terminal, xterm, x-terminal-emulator)
