dmg-license is a darwin-only package required for macOS DMG building. The CI runs on Linux, so npm install fails when trying to install a platform-specific devDependency. Using --force allows npm to skip platform mismatches instead of erroring out, allowing the build to proceed on non-darwin platforms where the darwin-only dependency will simply be skipped.
